My name is Brent Houston and I have over 23 years experience as a licensed electrician working in Alaska and Washington. From July 2005 to present I have worked for the Department of Labor & Industries as an Electrical Inspector (However, I do not represent the Department of L & I). I owned and operated an electrical contracting business and I am a licensed Master Electrician in Washington state. I will be your instructor and hope to see you in class.
My wife Cheryl Houston is a customer service professional at the Tumwater L&I office. Cheryl brings a unique perspective to CECEU. She has an Associate of Technical Arts degree from South Puget Sound Community College in accounting and handled all financial and office responsibilites for Quick Wire Electric (our electrical contracting business from 1998-2005. RIP)
